The Africa Sports Infrastructure Fund

The Africa Sports Infrastructure Fund is a $1 billion long-term, blended-finance investment platform designed to develop, upgrade, and operate CAF- and FIFA-compliant stadiums, training centres, academies, and mixed-use sports precincts across Africa.

Structured in partnership with leading global fund managers, development finance institutions, and sports governing bodies, the Fund addresses Africa's estimated US$80 billion football infrastructure gap by deploying patient capital into revenue-generating, multi-use assets that combine sport, entertainment, hospitality, and commercial real estate.

The platform prioritises sustainable design, professional venue operations, and ecosystem development - including clubs, leagues, and sports IP - ensuring assets are internationally broadcast-ready, financially viable, and integrated into national development goals rather than becoming underutilised "white elephants."
